The Lac la Hache Tomahawks were a men's senior hockey team that played in the Central Interior Hockey League from 2011[1] to 2016[2]. The team was forced to withdraw when the arena (Rolf Zeiss Memorial Arena) in town was forced to close down earlier than expected in the spring of 2016 and the Lac la Hache Community Club who ran the arena could not guarantee the rink would be opening back up in the fall due to power plant, maintenance, and staffing levels.
