The Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference is a NCAA Division III all sports conference.
The conference established formall men's and women's conferences for the 2013-14 season. The conference has five men's members and four women's members unitl the addition of Northland's men's and women's teams. All of the teams were previously members of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association. Prior to 2013-14 the conference supported a men's league in a way similar to the Ivy League in that it used the ECAC Hockey League schedule to create a schedule for its' members. The conference did not hold a post-season tournament until the start of full league play with the 2013-14 playing season.
On April 5, 2018 Northland College announced the Northland Lumberjacks and the Northland Lumberjills would be joining the conference for the 2019-20 season when they league the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.[1]
