Wayne Wood (born June 5, 1951 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a retired Canadian ice hockey goaltender.

He played junior hockey for the Montreal Junior Canadiens from 1968 to 1971, winning back-to-back Memorial Cups in 1969 and 1970.

The New York Rangers chose him 83rd overall in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft. Wood never played for the Rangers and knocked about the minor pros for four seasons.

In 1975 Wood jumped to the World Hockey Association. He played 104 games in the WHA with the Vancouver Blazers, Toronto Toros, Calgary Cowboys, and Birmingham Bulls.

After the WHA folded in 1979, Wood played two more seasons in the minor pros, retiring in 1981.
