Walker is a town in Kent County, Michigan. It is a suburb of Grand Rapids. The city had a population of 23,537 as of the 2010 US Census.
- West Michigan Freeze (Midwest Junior Hockey League, 2013, 2014) disbanded by league at September 11, 2013 meeting; readded for 2014-15 season but suspended operations on August 20, 2014
- Stadium Arena (now known as DeltaPlex Arena) The arena hosted the Grand Rapids Rockets and Grand Rapids Owls of the International Hockey League and was the main arena in the area until the 10,000+ seat Van Andel Arena opened in 1996.
- Walker Ice and Fitness Center (was scheduled to be home to the West Michigan Freeze)
