The Wakaw Lakers are a men's senior hockey team that play in the Fort Carlton Senior Hockey League. The team won league championships in 1986, 1988, 1995, 1997, and 2018. The team would withdraw from the league sometime between 2004 and 2007. They played in the Wheatland Hockey League from 2009 to 2012. They would return to the Fort Carlton Hockey League for the 2016-17 season. The team was announced as sitting out the 2018-19 season.
