Overview[]

"Vikings" (now referred to as "Vikes") is the name of the sports teams from the University of Victoria, located in Victoria, British Columbia. U Vic is a member of the Canada West Universities Athletic Association (CWUAA) and U Sports (formerly known as CIS). They have not participated in the men's hockey league since 1973. They do operate a team in the British Columbia Intercollegiate Hockey League (BCIHL), and have done so since the league's inception in 2005-06.

Season-by-Season Records Table[]

University Seasons: 1969-70 to 1972-73[]

The Vikings' stay in the "big leagues" was, by any measure, inglorious. Their best season was in 1971 when they went 3-17, the only season where they won a game. That's right, three 0-for seasons out of four. Their overall record was 3-75.
