Vanessa (Vinny) Davidson is a womens ice hockey player from Quebec. Currently, she competes for the Montreal Stars of the CWHL.

Playing career[]

Davidson finished her career with the McGill Martlets as the all-time leader in goals (145), assists (158) and points (303). On two separate occasions, she was named McGill Female Athlete of the Year and McGill Hockey Most Valuable Player. A CIS All-Canadian team three times (2007, 2008, 2009), she served as the Martlets assistant captain during the 2007-08 and 2008-09 campaigns, respectively. In her senior season (2009-10), she was named team captain.

Montreal Stars[]

Davidson was part of the Montreal Stars 2011 Clarkson Cup championship team. In the championship game, Davidson scored the game winning goal.[1] During the 2010-11 Montréal Stars season, her 20 points (12 goals, 8 assists) placed her in the Top 20 in CWHL overall scoring. In the championship game of the 2012 Clarkson Cup, Davidson scored the game winning goal of the game (assisted by Catherine Ward and Emmanuelle Blais. On February 8, 2014 Vanessa Davidson earns the 100th point in her CWHL career. [2] She now works at P.E.T.E.S as a gym teacher and play's hockey she love's all the kid's she work's with!:).
