Tuukka Rask (b. March 10th 1987 in Savonlinna, Finland) is a professional goaltender who plays in the SM-Liiga for the Tampere Ilves.

Drafted in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs 21st overall as the top-ranked European goaltender, his rights were traded to the Boston Bruins on June 24th 2006 in return of Andrew Raycroft.

Rask defended the Finnish National Team's colours in the 2006 World Junior Championships and was named the tournament's best goalie, while being named to the All-Star team as he played brilliantly, stopping all 53 shots the Swedes shot on him in the quarterfinals, allowing Finland to move to the semifinals; a loss to the Canadian National Team forced them to play for the bronze, which they won by beating the United States 4-2.
