Timothy James Ecclestone (born September 24, 1947 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada) is a former professional ice hockey left winger who played eleven seasons in the National Hockey League from 1967 until 1978.

Ecclestone played 692 career NHL games, scoring 126 goals and 233 assists for 359 points.

He was picked 9th overall by the New York Rangers in the 1964 NHL Amateur Draft and later joined their farm team Kitchener Rangers in the Ontario Hockey Association.

The Rangers traded him to the St. Louis Blues in 1967. He played four solid seasons with the expansion team. However, management was unhappy with his involvement in the affairs of the NHL Players Association and traded him, along with Red Berenson, to the Detroit Red Wings in 1971.

Ecclestone enjoyed his best points seasons with the Wings but was unhappy at being with a perennial losing team. At his request, he was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 1973.

Injuries kept him from success in Toronto and he ended up with the Atlanta Flames in 1974. An injured knee ended his career in 1978, at which point he became an assistant coach with the franchise.
