Timothy S. Armstrong (born May 12, 1967 in Toronto, Ontario) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played 11 games for his hometown Toronto Maple Leafs in 1988–89.

He played junior hockey for the Toronto Marlboros from 1984 to 1987. The Toronto Maple Leafs chose him 211th overall in the 1985 NHL Entry Draft.

Armstrong turned pro at the end of the 1986-87 season with the Newmarket Saints. He played for them for three more seasons. The Leafs called him up for 11 games in 1988-89 and he scored 1 goal.

After the Leafs let him go in 1990, Armstrong went to Europe to play a few games for VEU Feldkirch in Austria. He then finished the season with the Binghamton Rangers and retired.


His daughter, Hannah Armstrong was part of Canada's National Women's Under-18 Team to a gold medal at the 2010 IIHF World Women’s Under-18 Championship in Chicago. As a member of the gold medal winning squad, a hockey card of her was featured in the Upper Deck 2010 World of Sports card series.[1]
