The Thetford Mines Canadiens were a Junior "A" team in Thetford Mines, Quebec. They played in the Provincial Junior League from 1967-69, winning the league title in 1966-67.
For those three seasons they were a Montreal Canadiens farm team, feeding players to the Montreal Junior Canadiens who were regarded as a higher level team.
In 1964-65 they were known as the Thetford Mines Black Hawks and in 1965-66 they were the Thetford Mines Junior Aces.
In 1969 the team moved to Sherbrooke and became the Sherbrooke Castors. They are now the Rimouski Oceanic.
