Suzanne Fenerty (born October 9, 1988) was a women's ice hockey player for the St. Francis Xavier women's ice hockey team. In spring 2012, Fenerty registered for the 2012 CWHL Draft[1].

Playing careerEdit

Fenerty grew up in Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, hometown of Sidney Crosby, and began playing in Timbits Minor Hockey. She would play boys hockey until Bantam AAA[2].

In April 2011, Fenerty was named the St. Francis Xavier Female Athlete of the Year. She became only the second women's hockey player to earn the honour since Brayden Ferguson in 2008.[3] In her senior season (2011-12), Fenerty was selected as team captain, and finished her career with 80 career points.

Hockey CanadaEdit

In an 8-1 semifinal win over the United States on February 4, 2011, Canada advanced to the gold medal game of the Winter Universiade. Fenerty logged one goal and one assist. She assisted on the goal by Candice Styles, while Marieve Provost assisted on her score. [4]
