Steve J. Seftel (born May 14, 1968 in Kitchener, Ontario) is a retired Canadian ice hockey forward who played four games with the Washington Capitals during the 1990–91 NHL season.

He played junior hockey for the Kingston Canadians from 1985 to 1988 and was chosen 40th overall by the Washington Capitals in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft.

Seftel turned pro with the Baltimore Skipjacks in 1988-89. He continued with the Skipjacks and was called up for four games with the Capitals in 1989-90. Injuries forced his retirement after playing 18 games in the 1991-92 season.
