Stefan Ridderwall defending Djurgårdens IF's goal
Stefan Ridderwall (b. March 5th 1988 in Brännkyrka, Sweden) is a professional goaltender who plays in the Elitserien with Djurgårdens IF.
He was drafted to the National Hockey League by the New York Islanders 173rd overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He won the TV-pucken award as the best young goalie in Sweden in 2003 and 2004.
Stefan is the son of former Swedish netminder Rolf Ridderwall.
