The St. Norbert Green Knights are a Men's Division III, and Women's Division III team in Northern Collegiate Hockey Association. The women's team started play for the 2010-11 season.

Men's programEdit

The men's varsity program was started on October 13, 1987.  The team started play for the 1988-89 season.  The Green Knight club program has existed since 1968, the club team was retained with the elevation to varsity status.  The team completed as an independent from 1988 to 1994 when it joined the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association for the 1994-95 season.

The team has been coached by Tim Coghlin since 1994. As of the start of the 2015-16 season he has a record of 482-128-49 (.769 win/loss percentage)

As of the start of the 2015-16 season the team has:

  • won 4 NCAA Division III National Championship (2008, 2011, 2012, 2014)
  • made 9 D-III Frozen Four appearances (2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2014
  • made 15 NCAA Division III Tournament appearances
  • won 12 NCHA Playoff championships
  • won 14 NCHA Regular season championships

Women's programEdit

The women's program started for the 2010-11 season.  The team also competes in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.  The team won the conference tournament in 2013, losing in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA tournament.  The team has been coached by Rob Morgan since its' establishment.
