Men's program[]

The St. Cloud State Huskies men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents St. Cloud State University. The Huskies are a member of Western Collegiate Hockey Association.[1] They play at the National Hockey Center in St. Cloud, Minnesota.[2]

According to the school's athletic website he team appears to have started with the 1930-31 season but information is only available for 1931-32 onward.  The team took a hiatus from 1942 to 1946 due to World War II.  The team played in Division II and III until making the jump to Division I for the 1987-88 season.  The team had been a member of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association from its founding in 1981 until jumping to D-I.
