The Southern Maine Huskies are a Men's Division III and Women's Divison III team in the New England Hockey Conference which was known as ECAC East until 2015.

The teams represent the University of Southern Maine which is located in Gorham, Maine.  Both teams play out of the USM Ice Arena, which opened in the fall of 1998 and has an Olympic size ice sheet (200'x100')

Men's programEdit

The men's program appears to date back to the 1985-86 season (earliest information found).  The team has been a member of ECAC in division III since that season and had been a member of the ECAC East since it was established in 1995 until it was renamed the New England Hockey Conference for the 2015-16 season.

The team had not won the regular season or conference tournament while a member of ECAC East.

The team has not made any appearances in the NCAA Division III men's hockey tournament to date.
