The Southeastern Collegiate Hockey Conference (SECHC) is an ACHA Division III club ice hockey conference in the Southern United States. The league's mission is to develop and advance collegiate ice hockey. Despite not having a single varsity program in the region, ice hockey has grown significantly due to the success of the Carolina Hurricanes and Nashville Predators.
The 12 teams are members of the SECHC, all are ACHA ice hockey programs of the member universities of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) in NCAA athletics.
Eleven teams are members in the South region of ACHA Division III. Kentucky competes in the Southeast division of ACHA Division II. Because Kentucky is a Division II program, they play a very limited schedule against SECHC teams and do not currently participate in the SECHC Tournament at the end of the season.
