Sherman "Shermie" White (born May 12, 1923 in Cape Tormentine, New Brunswick - January 29, 1975) was a professional ice hockey centre who played four games in the National Hockey League. He played with the New York Rangers.

He played junior hockey for the Amherst St Pats in 1938-39 and then played senior hockey for the Amherst Ramblers and other teams in the town until 1944. From then until 1946 he played for a number of senior teams in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

From 1946 to 1950 he played in the New York Rangers' system and did get into 4 games for the NHL club, scoring two assists. In 1950 he was traded to the St. Louis Flyers. From 1951 to 1954 he played for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens of the Quebec Hockey League.

In 1954-55 he returned to the senior Amherst Ramblers and then continued to play senior hockey in the region. He spent the 1957-58 season in Newfoundland and Labrador.

White retired in 1964.
