Scott Reid (born November 25, 1976) is an ice hockey goaltender from Alberta.

Playing careerEdit

A two-time CHL All-Star, the 2003-2004 season was one of his best. He led the CHL with a .938 save percentage and 1523 saves. In addition, he accumulated 32 wins and six shutouts, while being selected as the Most Outstanding Goaltender.[1] In September 2006, Reid played in an exhibition game for the Nashville Predators. He made 13 third period saves without allowing a goal in a 2-0 loss in Columbus.

September 24, 2006 : The Nashville Predators assigned Scott Reid, along with Pekka Rinne and Karl Goehring to Milwaukee of the AHL[2]

PersonalEdit

In June 2011, Reid married Team Alberta (CWHL) defender Meaghan Mikkelson. The couple met in 2007 when they worked together at a hockey school in Edmonton.[3] At the time of her gold medal win at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Games, Reid played for the Alaska Aces. He has also played for the Arizona Sundogs.[4]
