History[]
The Sault Ste. Marie Realtors were a junior team.
They played in the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey Association for two seasons, neither of which was very successful.
Despite this the Realtors did make history.
They were the first American-based team to be eligible for the Memorial Cup. In other words, they were the first American team to play top-rank Canadian junior hockey.
