Samantha Redick (born February 20, 1992) is an ice hockey player for the Lindenwood Lady Lions. In addition, she represented the United States in Women's ice hockey at the 2011 Winter Universiade.[1]

Playing careerEdit

From 2004 to 2006, she participated with the South Anchorage Mighty Moose. She played for head coach Steve Belde on Team Alaska from 2007 to 2009. In 2007, she won the Pacific District Championship with Team Alaska. Redick competed in ice hockey for AJ Dimond High School under coach Melynda Belde in Alaska from 2007 to 2010. [2]

Her freshman year with the Lindenwood Lady Lions was in 2010-11. During her freshman campaign, she ranked fourth on the team with 18 goals. In addition, she was tied for first in game winning goals with four, while she notched five tallies on the power play.[3] In a 2011 ACHA national tournament game, she registered a hat trick (including the game winner) against Grand Valley State. Redick helped Lindenwood finish third at the ACHA National Tournament.

The 2011–12 Lindenwood Lady Lions women's ice hockey season marked the first season that Lindenwood competed in NCAA Division I and she was part of the roster.

USA HockeyEdit

At the 2011 Winter Universiade, she was part of the United States roster that finished in fourth place.
