Samantha Cogan (born February 27, 1997) is a women's ice hockey player that has competed for the Canadian National Women's Under 18 team. Of note, she would capture a silver medal with Canada at the 2015 IIHF U18 Women's Worlds[1].
Playing career[]
Cogan has been a member of the Nepean Wildcats since 2011. She has committed to compete for the Wisconsin Badgers in autumn 2015.
Hockey Canada[]
At the 2013 Canadian Under-18 Nationals, Cogan played for head coach Bradi Cochrane as a member of the gold medal winning Team Ontario Red roster. Cogan competed in her first international tournament with Hockey Canada at the 2014 IIHF U18 Women’s World Championships, claiming the gold medal.
Canada Winter Games[]
Playing for head coach Cochrane once again, Cogan was a member of the Team Ontario roster that competed in women’s ice hockey at the 2015 Canada Winter Games.
