Ruslan Salei (b. November 2nd 1974 in Minsk, Belarus) is a professional defenseman who plays in the National Hockey League for the Florida Panthers.

Drafted to the NHL by the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim 9th overall of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft, Salei played over 500 games for the Ducks before joining the Panthers prior to the beginning of the 2006-07. He has been suspended in October 1999 for 10 games for checking Mike Modano into the boards from behind.
