Roman Josi (born 1 June 1990 in Bern, Switzerland) is a Swiss professional ice hockey defenceman. He currently plays for SC Bern of the Swiss National League A. Josi began playing professionally with Bern in 2006. He was selected by the Nashville Predators 38th overall in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. Josi is considered one of the top Swiss prospects.

Josi was selected to play for the Switzerland men's national ice hockey team at the 2010 Winter Olympics. He previously represented Switzerland at the 2007 and 2008 IIHF World U18 Championships, the 2007, 2008, 2009. and 2010 IIHF World U20 Championship, and the 2009 Ice Hockey World Championship.
