Rick McCann (born May 27, 1944 in Hamilton, Ontario) was a professional ice hockey centre who played 43 games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Detroit Red Wings.

He played Junior "B" for the St. Marys Lincolns in 1963-64 and then college hockey for the Michigan Tech Huskies in 1964-65. In 1965-66 McCann joined the Canadian National Team and played in the 1966 World Championship.

He turned pro in 1966-67 with the Memphis Wings of the Central Hockey League. McCann played his entire professional career in the Detroit Red Wings' system. He was called up for a total of 43 NHL games from 1968 to 1975. He scored a total of one goal and four assists with the Wings.

McCann retired in 1976.
