Richard Aimonetto (b. January 24th 1973 in Chamonix, France) is a centre who plays in the Ligue Magnus for HC Chamonix.

Aimonetto played his junior hockey in the QMJHL from 1990 to 1993, spending time with the Victoriaville Tigres, the St. Jean Lynx and the Shawinigan Cataractes. He then returned to his homeland to play for his local team, HC Chamonix. He spent his whole career in France, playing for Chamonix, the Grenoble Brûleurs de Loups, the Lyon Lions, HC Reims the Mulhouse Scorpions and the Amiens Gothiques.

Aimonetto has been a regular on the French National Team from 1998 to 2003, taking part in the 1998 and 2002 Olympics, as well as every World Championship from 1998 to 2003.
