The Rhode Island Eagles were a minor pro team in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. They played in the Eastern Hockey League in one season only - 1972-73.
They finished with a 32-35-9-73 record, good for second in the Central Division. The Easgles were a farm team of the Chicago Cougars of the World Hockey Association.
The Eagles played in the Brother Adelard Arena, the home of the Mount Saint Charles Academy team.
Their coach was Larry Kish.
