Rhett Rakhshani (born March 6, 1988 in Huntingdon Beach, California) ia an American right winger playing in the New York Islanders' organization.
He played for the USA Hockey National Team Development Program from 2004 to 2006. He then played for the University of Denver for four years until 2010.
The New York Islanders chose him 100th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. He signed a two-year entry-level contract with the Islanders in 2010 after the college season was over. Rakhshani played 5 regular season and 5 playoff games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers at the end of the 2009-10 season.
