The Renfrew Lions were a senior team.
They played in the Upper Ottawa Valley League from 1941-42 through 1948-49 (except for 1943-44 & 1944-45). The Lions got one championship in 1947-48. They then won the 1947-48 Ottawa District Senior Playoffs before losing the semi final in the 1947-48 Eastern Canada Allan Cup Playoffs.
The Lions then played in the Eastern Canada Senior Hockey League in 1949-50 before folding.
