Ray Getliffe (April 3, 1914 – June 15, 2008) was a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger who played 10 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens.

Born in Galt, Ontario (now Cambridge, Ontario), he played junior with the London Diamonds and the Stratford Midgets. He also played for the Charlottetown Abbies of the Maritime Senior Hockey League in 1934-35.

He was noted as being the person who gave teammate Maurice Richard his nickname, "The Rocket". Getliffe's name is on the Stanley Cup twice, for 1939 with Boston and 1944 with Montreal. On February 6, 1943 while playing for the Canadiens he scored five goals in one game.

Getliffe retired in 1945, having played 393 NHL games and scoring 136 goals and 137 assists. In 45 playoff games he scored 9 goals and 10 assists.
