Randy Smith (born July 7, 1965 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan) is an Canadian ice hockey player. He won a silver medal at the 1992 Winter Olympics. He would also play three games in the National Hockey League with the Minnesota North Stars. He played his final years of ice hockey in the United Kingdom for Peterborough Pirates and Cardiff Devils.

Smith played junior for the Calgary Wranglers and the Saskatoon Blades, scoring 146 points in his final year (1985–86) with the Blades. Undrafted by an NHL team, he was signed as a free agent by the Minnesota North Stars. He played only one game with the Stars in 1985-86 and two more the following season, scoring no points. Through 1989-90, he played in the minor pros.

In 1990-91 he joined the Canada national men's ice hockey team and played in the 1991 World Championship and the 1992 Olympics, winning a silver medal.

He then played one season in Germany and one with the Las Vegas Thunder. In 1994 Smith went to Great Britain where he played until his retirement in 2000.

After that he was an assistant coach of the Swift Current Broncos from 2000–03 and the head coach in 2003-04.
