Rachel Barrie (born November 12, 1982) was a goaltender for the St. Lawrence Skating Saints women’s ice hockey program.

Playing careerEdit

Barrie was drafted by Smiths Falls of the CJHL, and was the first girl to play in the league. As a fifteen year old, she tried out for the 1997 Canadian National women’s ice hockey team. [1] She would represent Team Ontario in the 1999 Canada Winter Games. During the 2002-03 season, she would play for the Canadian Under 22 team and share goaltending duties with Charline Labonte.[2], and
