The Pond Ice Arena is an indoor arena located in Newark, Delaware. The facility opened in 1996. On May 1, 2017 the facility was announced to become home to the relocated Delaware Lightning of the United States Premier Hockey League. By the end of May the team announced that they would instead be based out of the Center Ice Rink on the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington, Delaware.
