The Pictou Maripacs were a senior team.

They played in the Antigonish-Pictou-Colchester Senior Hockey League from 1947-48 to 1953-54.

The Maripacs won the league title once, in 1952-53.

The name was also used by the junior B team in the early 1970's.

Name originated from an early team sponsor "Maritime Packers".   Maritime Packers was a fish plant located just outside Pictou.  Name has been used for Pictou Minor Hockey teams for many years.
