The Pictou County Scotians are a Junior "B" team in Trenton, Nova Scotia. They play in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League.

The original team was known as the Station House Icemen prior to Subway coming on as a major sponsor and the team was renamed as the Pictou County Subways. The team has been known as the Pictou County Scotians since 2003. The team has been without a major sponsor since 2003. The team has been kept afloat by a flea market run by the team's board of directors. The flea market was forced to end late in 2013 and the team was threatened with relocation to Truro due to the budget coming up short. However, Since the 2014-2015 season, Aecon Atlantic became their major sponsor, and they are now known as the Pictou County Aecon Atlantic Scotians. That same season, They also Ditched their primarily green uniforms for new red ones, With the design of the Chicago Blackhawks.

On October 9th, 2016 in a game Vs The Jr Miners, A very controversial incident occoured. Miners Player Jordan Breen Hit scotians player Luke Spicer in a very violent manner, Leading Spicer to have Brain and shoulder injuries. The incident Received widespread news coverage. Breen was suspended for the rest of the regular season and the playoffs, and Spicer was expected to be out for the rest of the season. However, he was back in the lineup for the January 31, 2017 game vs the Antigonish Bulldogs, scoring a goal helping the scotians to a 4-0 victory in the process.

They won The league championship in 2017, Beating the Bulldogs in 6 games, the miners in 7, and The Liverpool Privateers in 6 before losing in the round robin of the Don Johnson Cup. The scotians used the Pictou County Wellness centre as their Home ice during their series vs the Privateers, because of Trenton Rink being closed for the season.
