Philipp Grubauer (born November 25, 1991 in Rosenheim, Germany) is a German goaltender playing for the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL.

He started out with his hometown SB Rosenheim in 2007-08 and then moved to Canada. He played for the Belleville Bulls in 2008-09 and part of 2009-10 until he was traded to the Windsor Spitfires part-way through the season. He ended up winning the Memorial Cup with Windsor.

Grubauer played the 2010-11 season with the Kingston Frontenacs.

The Washington Capitals chose him 112th overall in the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He turned pro with the Stingrays (a Capitals' farm team) in 2011.
