Pete Slobodian (April 24, 1918 – November 17, 1986) was a Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played 41 games in the National Hockey League for the New York Americans. He was born in Dauphin, Manitoba.

He played junior hockey for the Brandon Wheat Kings from 1936 to 1938 and then senior hockey in Regina from 1938 to 1940.

The New York Americans, their roster weakened by World War II, called Slobodian up for the 1940-41 season. He played in 41 games, scoring 3 goals and 2 assists and leading the team in penalty minutes with 54. That was it for his NHL career.

Slobodian returned to western Canada, playing senior hockey through the 1945-46 season. He won the Allan Cup in 1946 with the Calgary Stampeders. He played two seasons of minor pro with the Hershey Bears from 1946 to 1948 and then was a player-coach in the 1948-49 season with the senior Lethbridge Maple Leafs.

He retired in 1949 and coached the junior Lethbridge Native Sons for three seasons.
