The Penticton Broncos were a junior A team.

They played in the Okanagan Junior League from 1964-65 through 1966-67. When that league merged into the British Columbia Hockey League the Broncos went along and played in that league through the 1974-75 season.

The Broncos won the British Columbia Junior Championship in 1967-68 and 1972-73.

In 1970-71 the coastal teams had too many overage players to qualify for the Ceentennial Cup playoffs. The Broncos were the best of the eligible teams. At the insistence of the Canadian Amateur Hockey Association they represented the province in the regional playdowns. They were, therefore, not vailable for the provincial playoffs.

The team was renamed the Penticton Vees in 1975.
