Paul Nicholson (born June 16, 1954, in Listowel, Ontario) is a retired Canadian ice hockey forward. He played 62 games for the Washington Capitals between 1974 & 1977. Nicholson scored 4 goals and 8 assists.

He was originally selected 55th overall in the 1974 NHL Amateur Draft by the Capitals, and 40th overall by the Michigan Stags in the 1974 WHA Amateur Draft.
