Patrick Rankine (from Trois-Rivieres, Quebec) is the head coach of the Montreal Stars in the CWHL.

Coaching careerEdit

In the 2005-06 NWHL season, Rankine served as head coach of the Québec Avalanche. Prior to serving as head coach, Rankine assumed the role of assistant coach and assistant general manager with the Avalanche from 2001 to 2005, respectively. During the 2007-08 and 2009-10 seasons, Rankine served as both head coach and general manager of the Montreal Stars. After the 2010-11 CWHL season, Rankine was named the CWHL Coach of the Year. In addition, he led the Stars to a championship at the 2011 Clarkson Cup.

Patrick is a physical education teacher and holds a degree in physical education from Université du Québec a Trois-Rivières.
