Patrick Doherty (b. July 13, 1982 Wakefield, Massachusetts, United States) is a professional ice hockey forward.

Doherty played four years at Southern New Hampshire University Penmen, which is part of the ECAC (Eastern College Athletic Conference) Northeast Hockey League of the NCAA. Doherty put up 47 points, including 26 goals and 21 assists in 28 games with the Penmen in 2004-05. He also served as team captain for the Penmen his senior year. Over his four seasons skating for Southern New Hampshire University, he amassed a total of 102 points, which includes 56 goals and 46 assists.

Doherty also played in 141 career games with 62 goals and 54 assists in his first 4 seasons in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) with the Pee Dee Cyclones and the Barracudas.

Doherty is signed with the Huntsville Havoc (SPHL) for the 2008-09 season.
