The Norwegian 2. Division is the third level of ice hockey in Norway. Prior to the 1990-91 season, it served as the second-level Norwegian league.

The second-tier league was known as the 1. Division from 1955-1962. In 1954-55, the second-tier competition was the District Championship. It was the 2. Division in 1953-54.
