The Northeast Generals are a USA Hockey-sanctioned ice hockey team from Canton, Massachusetts. The team was announced to commence play with the 2015-16 season. They played in the North American 3 Eastern Hockey League at the Canton Sportplex for the 2015-16 season. The team moved along with the rest of the league to the North American 3 Hockey League for the 2016-17 season.
The organization was awarded a North American Hockey League expansion team to commence play for the 2016-17 season. The NAHL team will be based out of the newly constructed New England Sports Village in Attleboro, Massachusetts. It has not been announced if the NA3HL franchise will also be based out of the new facility or it they will remain in Canton.
