Canadian Junior A Outline

The Newfoundland Junior A Hockey League (NJAHL) was a Canadian junior ice hockey league based out of Newfoundland in the 1970s. For a brief period, the NJAHL was eligible for competition in the National Junior A playdowns for the Centennial Cup if they were to win the Veitch Memorial Trophy. The league was known as the Newfoundland Junior A Hockey League from 1971-1975. It was then reformed as the West Newfoundland Junior Hockey League for the 1975-1976 season. The league folded after the 1975-1976 season after being down to just three teams
