Moeroberts

Maurice "Moe" Roberts (December 13, 1906 in Waterbury, Connecticut – February 5, 1975) was an American ice hockey player. Roberts played in the National Hockey League with the Boston Bruins, Chicago Black Hawks and New York Americans. He was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 2005.

In suiting up for one game with the Chicago Black Hawks in 1952 (during which he kept the opposition scoreless for the period in which he played), the then-45 year old Roberts became the oldest man to play in an NHL game, a record since broken by Gordie Howe and also passed by Chris Chelios. He was the final NHL player active in the 1920s.
