The Minnesota Flying Aces were a Tier III Jr. A ice hockey playing in the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL). The team played their home games at the Exchange Arena, located in Little Falls, Minnesota. The Aces play a 48 game regular season games, in addition to showcase and post season tournament games. The team were coached by Craig Larson, former scout for the International Scouting Service, that ranks players for the NHL. The team was later coached by Jim Jensen starting midway throught the 2014-15 season. [1]

The Aces first season was the 2007–08 season as members of the Minnesota Junior Hockey League (MnJHL). Following the 2010–11 season, the franchise moved to the North American 3 Hockey League along with in-state rival,the Granite City Lumberjacks.

Sale and RelocationEdit

On May 24, 2016 the NA3HL announced that the team had been sold to the owners of the Brookings Blizzard and Alexandria Blizzard (Chris and Mitri Canavati). As part of the announcement of the sale, the team was relocating to the Willmar Civic Center Arena in Willmar, Minnesota for the 2016-17 season.
