Mike Sands (born April 6, 1963 in Mississauga, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played six games in the National Hockey League. He played with the Minnesota North Stars.He currently serves as the director of amateur scouting for the Calgary Flames. He previously served as an amateur scout for the Flames and previously worked for the NHL Central Scouting Bureau.

He had been chosen 31st overall by the North Stars in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft.
