Mike Hordy (born October 10, 1956 in Thunder Bay, Ontario) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman who played eleven games in the National Hockey League for the New York Islanders.

He played Tier II Junior "A" with the Westfort Hurricanes in 1973-74 and major junior with the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds from 1974 to 1976. The New York Islanders chose him 86th overall in the 1976 NHL Amateur Draftwhile the Houston Aeros picked him 82nd overall in the 1976 WHA Amateur Draft.

Hordy chose the Islanders and played mostly in their minor pro system. He did get into 11 games for New York over two seasons and did not score any points. He won the Bob Gassoff Trophy in 1977-78.

In 1982-83 Hordy spent a season in Switzerland with Zürcher SC and then returned to North America to sign with the New Jersey Devils. He played two seasons for the Maine Mariners and retired in 1985.
