Micah Hart (born January 13, 1997) is a women's ice hockey player that has competed for the Canadian National Women's Under 18 team. Of note, she was named Canada’s captain at the 2015 IIHF U18 Women's Worlds, capturing a silver medal [1].
Playing career[]
Hart played from 2011-15 with the Okanagan Hockey Academy in Penticton, BC. A member of Team British Columbia at the 2015 Canada Winter Games, she was BC's flag bearer at the Games' ceremony.
Cornell Big Red[]
Hart made her debut for Cornell in an October 16, 2015 exhibition match against the defending CIS national champion Western Mustangs.[2]
Other[]
Hart was featured in a short film[3] which aired on broadcast TV on MTV Canada and subsequently on their website. Of note, the short film was part of a series that recognized young women and their success, while providing inspiration. Hart was the fourth woman to appear in the film series.
